Exciting News, And You’re Invited!

Here we go again… my new piece, The Alms Tree, was chosen to be played by the Victoria Symphony! I am so looking forward to this, and want to invite you to be a part of it.

The event will be a workshop featuring myself and other BC composers chosen by the Symphony. In 2011 there were 5 composers in all. Each composer will have a short time to rehearse their piece with the orchestra and conductor.

On stage. In front of you guys.

Here are the details.
When: Saturday, March 16, 2:00 pm
Where: Alix Goolden Hall, Victoria, BC
Cost: Free!

Invite as many people as you like.

This would be a great event for you to attend if:
1) You want to hear brand new music played for the very first time.
2) You ever wanted to see a professional orchestra rehearse.
3) You want to meet real live composers of concert music. We’re out there!
4) You couldn’t tell the difference between a bassoon and a glockenspiel if your life depended on it, but you just wanted to show up and show your support. That’s okay too!

When’s the last time you went to the symphony?
